In order to further implement the work deployment requirements of Qingdao's construction of an "entrepreneurial city" and "project implementation year", further create and enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship atmosphere in Qingdao, and continuously discover, cultivate and attract a batch of high-quality innovation and entrepreneurship maker projects, Qingdao City held the 2021 "Maker China" (Qingdao Division) and the 7th "Mayor Cup" · Haichuanghui · Small and Medium Enterprises Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

Our company actively responded to the government's call and sent a team to participate in the West Coast No. 1 special screening competition in the West Coast New Area of the 7th "Mayor Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

The competition was held on July 15 at the No. 1 Office Building in the West Coast New Area. 17 innovative projects from the West Coast New Area participated in a total of five  rounds. Afa sent a team consisting of Chief Engineer Chen Jijiang and Deputy Chief Engineer Wu Ping to participate in the competition. The project was "Development and Application of Ultra-low Temperature Top-entry C-type Ball Valve".

With its solid theoretical foundation, advanced design concepts, excellent professional technology and outstanding product practicality, our company's representative team won unanimous praise from the expert judges and the applause of the whole audience. In the end, we stood out from the 17 participating teams and won the sixth place with excellent results. it's quite an honor.
