As a professional manufacturer of metal valves, Afa Flow Control Co., Ltd. needs to obtain relevant manufacturing licenses in accordance with the provisions of the "Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment" and "Licensing Rules for Special Equipment Production and Filling Units" before it can engage in the production and manufacturing of valve products. Afa applied to the State Administration for Market Regulation on March 13, 2021 (Pressure Pipeline Component Manufacturing License Conditions: Metal Valves (A1, B) Renewal and Additional Licenses). The State Administration for Market Regulation issued a special equipment administrative license acceptance decision on March 16, 2021, and entrusted the Henan Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Inspection Institute to conduct an appraisal and review.
Entrusted by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China, from April 24 to 25, the expert group of Henan Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Inspection Institute conducted a two-day on-site appraisal and review of the pressure pipeline valve renewal and additional license for our company. Based on the requirements of relevant laws and regulations on special equipment, the expert group conducted a comprehensive and detailed review from the aspects of quality assurance system documents, document and record control, contract control, head of quality management system, raw and auxiliary material control, operation process control, heat treatment control, non-destructive testing control, physical and chemical inspection control, product process quality control, inspection and test equipment control, non-conforming product control, quality improvement and service control, personnel training, assessment and management, and implementation of special equipment licensing system, and issued non-conformities. Our company completed the rectification of non-conformities on May 15, 2021 and submitted rectification materials.
After on-site review of our company and review of the rectification measures and rectification reports submitted by our company, the expert group unanimously agreed that Afa has the production capacity of metal valves for pressure piping components, the operation of the quality assurance system is effective, and it can provide customers with safe and reliable products. Therefore, the expert group agreed to reissue the special equipment manufacturing license (pressure piping components: metal valves (A1, B).
On July 5, 2021, the new special equipment manufacturing license (pressure piping components: metal valves (A1, B)) was sent to our company.
Through this review, Afa's quality assurance system and management level have been tested and we have seen both achievements and shortcomings. Afa will continue to improve the quality management system and further enhance the Afa's quality assurance management level.
