On August 5, the Third Representative Conference of Qingdao West Coast New Area Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) was held at the East District Conference Center. Sun Yonghong, member of the Standing Committee of Qingdao Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the West Coast New Area Working Committee, and Secretary of the District Party Committee, and Liu Qinglin, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended the event and delivered speeches. Tong Haiyan, Director of the District People's Congress Standing Committee, Lu Ying, Chairman of the District CPPCC, Liu Luying, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Working Committee and Minister of the Organization Department, Zang Haoyu, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Working Committee and Director of the Working Committee Office, and Chen Jian, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Working Committee and Deputy District Mayor, were invited to attend the meeting.

The conference listened to and reviewed the work report delivered by Wang Bo, Chairman of the Qingdao West Coast New Area Federation of Industry and Commerce, on behalf of the Second Executive Committee of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce, passed the resolutions of the Third Members' Representative Conference of the New Area Federation of Industry and Commerce (Chamber of Commerce), and elected a new Executive Committee.
